Responsibilities
- Act as a Customer Ambassador: serve as the primary point of contact for customers, drive designated routes to deliver compressed gas cylinders and related products, handle orders, resolve complaints, and build strong relationships.
- Maintain safety and efficiency: load, transport, and unload products from the company-provided truck in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
- Keep the vehicle in good condition: perform routine maintenance checks and keep the truck clean and ready for daily routes.
- Perform physically demanding tasks: routinely lift 25–75 pounds, up to 125+ pounds with assistive equipment, bend, walk, stand, and drive up to 8 hours each day with hazardous cargo.
Qualifications
- At least one year of verifiable Class A or B CDL driving experience within the past 5 years, or recent graduate from an accredited driving school (exceptional customer service skills are a plus).
- Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement, or ability to obtain Hazmat upon offer.
- A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and minimum age of 21.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and read/comprehend material safety data sheets.
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and handle hazardous cargo as described.
