What You'll Do
- Build relationships by being the first point of contact for customers, using expert knowledge to understand their unique needs and guide them to the right products.
- Drive growth by engaging in inside sales, helping customers assess their needs, providing quotes, and using problem‑solving skills to find the perfect solution.
- Ensure a smooth operation by organizing merchandise, processing sales in our system, and maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Serve as a reliable backup, stepping in to safely deliver essential gases and welding products when a regular driver is out.
Required Qualifications
- At least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience that is verifiable under DOT requirements in the past five years, or a recent graduate from an accredited driving school.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a proactive attitude are a plus.
- Class A or B CDL with a Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain one upon offer.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and at least 21 years of age.
- Physical capability and stamina to handle and deliver products, including lifting 25–75 lbs and up to 125+ lbs with material‑handling equipment.
- Ability to bend, walk, stand, and drive for up to eight hours a day with hazardous cargo.
- Familiarity with sales platforms or the ability to quickly learn new systems such as SAP, other CRM, or basic computer order‑entry systems.
