We are looking for an
Analyst or Senior Analyst to join our Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic (CVRM) team , supporting the delivery of high-quality scientific and commercial intelligence to our clients.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong scientific knowledge and a passion for cardiovascular, renal and metabolic diseases who wants to apply their expertise within a commercial, data-driven environment.
You will conduct in-depth research and analysis across the CVRM landscape, helping translate complex scientific and commercial datasets into clear, actionable insights for pharmaceutical and life sciences clients.
Your work will span c ustom analytics, competitive intelligence, forecasting and bespoke client projects, with opportunities to engage directly with clients and contribute to the continued development of Airfinity's CVRM analytics.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Produce high-quality intelligence reports and analysis across the CVRM landscape.
- Research emerging scientific and commercial developments.
- Track clinical trials, drug candidates, competitor pipelines, launches and strategic positioning.
- Support candidate assessment and whitespace/opportunity identification.
- Contribute to bespoke forecasting and research projects, from planning through to delivery.
- Turn complex data into compelling insights, visualisations, reports and presentations.
- Present research findings and strategic insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop into a trusted scientific partner for clients, bringing strong CVRM knowledge to project discussions.
What We're Looking For
- A postgraduate degree in a scientific discipline , ideally with a focus on cardiovascular, renal and/or metabolic disease.
A Ph D is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.
- Strong scientific research capability and genuine expertise or interest within the
CVRM disease landscape .
- Ideally, experience within pharmaceutical forecasting, competitive intelligence, consulting or client-facing analytical work .
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex scientific information into commercially relevant insights.
- Experience with data visualisation, dashboards and storytelling .
- An interest in using
AI tools to enhance research, analysis and insight generation .
- Experience with
R, SQL, Python or similar analytical tools would be beneficial.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
