We have two vacancies to work at our Guiseley & Yeadon Medical Practice on a permanent basis. This is due to a retirement and a relocation. Each GP vacancy is to work 4 sessions (2 days) per week though a higher number of sessions may be considered. This will be working over 2 days and covering one half day of on-call each week on average.
These roles will be based at the Guiseley & Yeadon Medical Practice site in Yeadon - at Yeadon Health Centre and at Netherfield Road in Guiseley.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for highly motivated doctors to join our rapidly expanding medical team. Our big practice with a small friendly team approach is situated in purpose-built premises in the pleasant residential areas of Guiseley and Yeadon in Leeds. Guiseley and Yeadon Medical Practice has been working very closely with Aire Valley Surgery and this is a temporary collaborative arrangement whilst the GYMP practice continues to develop and grow. We are a training practice and participate in a range of enhanced services.
Guiseley and Yeadon Medical Practice has a dedicated large team which consists of GPs including Registrars, a Physician Associate, and a Practice Pharmacist. We have a new Nursing Team and our attached staff in-house include the Midwives, First Contact Practitioners, Care Coordinator, and we have two local care homes. The list size is approximately 11,000 at Guiseley & Yeadon Medical Practice. SystemOne is used, operating a total triage software system called Accurx. There is no requirement for any extended hours work. This includes a fair share of letters, path links, and prescriptions. Salaried rates and job plan will be primarily based around recommended BMA.
