Here's what you will need to be successful:
4+ years of professional full stack experience shipping and operating production systems.
Strong React and Type Script skills, plus solid back-end fundamentals (APIs, data modeling, relational databases).
Hands-on experience with testing , CI/CD , and basic observability (logs, metrics, alerts).
A track record of working on/leading non-trivial migrations or modernization work on a live product.
Clear written and verbal communication skills - you can explain trade-offs to engineers and non-engineers alike.
Practical, daily use of AI tools in your workflow, with the judgment to verify what they produce.
Here's what would be nice to have:
Experience with Ember.js or migrating front-end frameworks, or a polyglot with Front End frameworks.
Background in short-term rental , property management, travel, or hospitality tech .
Experience operating multi-tenant Saa S at scale, including performance tuning.
Familiarity with AWS , Heroku , containers , and infrastructure-as-code .
Prior experience formally mentoring other engineers.
Familiarity with the Shape Up methodology
