Bensons for Beds is looking for a new Buyers Assistant to join our Buying team based in Accrington. Reporting to the Junior Buyer and Buyer, this role will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the buyer and junior buyer. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual with some experience in a similar role or industry, who is willing to occasionally travel.

Your duties will include:

  • Accurate creation of new Product Introduction forms
  • Liaising with the imagery team on the creation of digital assets
  • Collaborating with the copywriting team on web product data
  • Liaising with suppliers to collect data to enable new lines to be set up
  • Communicating with new suppliers and ensuring new vendor setup via the product catalogue team
  • Completing regular competitor shops and updating pricing monitor tools
  • Creating and updating range architectures
  • Collaboration with the Marketing department to generate information for in-store price tickets and point of sale
  • Cost/retail price file management
  • Reviewing product listings and brand landing pages on our website
  • Liaising with the merchandising team on new product rollouts
