We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Portfolio Analyst to join our Asset Management team. This position will support the Portfolio Manager and Senior Portfolio Analyst in the day-to-day oversight of a portfolio of leased commercial aircraft. The role is an excellent opportunity to grow into the aircraft leasing industry, providing hands-on exposure to lease and asset management, billing, stakeholder communication, data systems, and aircraft monitoring. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining accurate portfolio data and ensuring smooth operational management of assigned assets.
Responsibilities
- Lease Administration & Billing
- Preparation of monthly invoices for rent, maintenance reserves, and other lease-related charges.
- Track lessee payments and liaise with internal finance colleagues to reconcile receipts and outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate billing data within the company’s lease management system, Leasepoint.
- Collect and validate monthly utilisation reports (flight hours, cycles, APU hours) from lessees.
- Ensure reported data aligns with lease requirements and is properly recorded in the system.
- Assist in maintaining aircraft and engine status data for internal and investor reporting.
- Lessee Communication & Management
- Serve as a point of contact for lessee operational queries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Coordinate with technical, legal, and finance teams on routine requests and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of lessee correspondence, notices, and reports.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate filing of lease documents, notices, and amendments in Leasepoint.
- Track compliance items such as insurance, registrations, operational approvals, and lessee covenants, escalating any gaps or breaches.
- Assist in preparing materials and data for periodic internal or external audits related to asset and lease records.
- Forecasting & Analysis
- Support the Portfolio team in developing and updating maintenance reserve and cashflow forecasts.
- Contribute to portfolio dashboards and internal reporting packs.
- System & Data Management
- Maintain up to date asset, lease, and billing information within Leasepoint and internal trackers.
- Support data integrity checks and process improvement initiatives related to Leasepoint.
- Assist in the onboarding/offboarding of aircraft within the portfolio.
- Support periodic reporting requirements to management and investors.
Candidate profile
- Experience and strong interest in aviation, leasing, asset management or a related analytical/administrative field.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines in a structured environment.
- Comfortable working with operational, financial and maintenance data, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with Leasepoint or similar asset management systems is an advantage, alongside clear written and verbal communication skills.
