We are a long-established and successful company based in North London looking to employ a talented Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer willing to commit to this permanent position. You will be responsible for the service/maintenance of single-split, multi-split, VRV/VRF systems at our customers’ sites. You must be able to diagnose system faults on a wide variety of air conditioning systems (excluding fridges). We primarily work in high-end residential properties, therefore tidiness and attention to detail are essential as is fluent spoken and written English. You must have significant experience as an engineer and a minimum of 2-years in the air conditioning industry (not refrigeration).
Work Duties:
- Servicing different types of AC systems (i.e. Cassettes, Wall Mounts, Low Wall Mounts, VRV’s, Multi-Split).
- Servicing ventilation systems (preferable).
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out recommended repairs.
- Using an electronic system to follow your schedule and fill in technician reports.
- Carrying out many different jobs throughout the day in different areas.
- Cleanliness and organising of work van provided, and keeping it well stocked.
- Reporting to the office daily.
You MUST have:
- City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas.
- Clean Full Driving Licence.
- Hardworking and able to meet deadlines.
- Able to work in part of a team and independently.
- Friendly and professional with customers.
- Able to resolve unforeseen problems.
- A ‘can do’ attitude.
- Confident in using an electronic system day-to-day.
Additional qualifications (desirable but not essential):
- PASMA Ladder Association.
- Diagnostic training from the major manufacturers i.e. Daikin, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu.
- Manufacturer-specific VRV training.
- Experience in servicing and/or installing ventilation.
Typical Working Hours: 7.45am – 4.15pm (including 45 minutes paid travelling time to site). Our work is mainly focused in London and the Home Counties and with the majority of our jobs based in Central London.
