*What are we looking for.....*
As an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems across our customer base.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced engineer with a strong background in refrigeration and air conditioning, together with proven experience working on commercial and industrial chiller systems.
You will be part of a team of Engineers who support Airco in providing a service to our growing and highly prestigious client base in Hull and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety from planned preventative maintenance to emergency breakdown response working with both domestic and commercial clients.

*Salary:* Upto Β£20 per hour - dependent on Experience

*What will you do....*
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and reactive repairs on commercial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and commercial and industrial chiller systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults across a range of systems, including VRV/VRF, split and multi-split systems, cold rooms, freezer rooms and close control equipment.
- Carry out fault finding and repairs on chiller components, including compressors, evaporators, condensers, controls and associated electrical components.
- Work on chilled water systems and associated HVAC equipment.
- Complete all work safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Produce accurate and detailed job reports and complete all required documentation.
- Liaise professionally with customers and maintain strong working relationships.
- Manage your own workload, materials and daily schedule effectively.
- Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and client-specific site requirements.
- Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota as part of Airco's 24/7/365 service.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other engineers where required.
- Remain flexible to meet the operational needs of the business.
*Who are we looking for....*
We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Engineer with strong technical knowledge and proven chiller experience.
The successful candidate will be confident working independently, diagnosing complex faults and delivering effective repairs across a varied range of commercial air conditioning, refrigeration and chiller systems.
*Essential Requirements*
- NVQ Level 3, or equivalent, in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
- Current F-Gas certification.
- A minimum of four years' experience within the air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
- Strong experience servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Proven experience working on commercial and industrial chillers.
- Experience with VRV/VRF, split systems, multi-splits, cold rooms and freezer rooms.
- Experience with chilled water and close control systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good electrical competence, including the ability to read wiring schematics and test control circuits.
- Good knowledge of relevant industry standards and legislation.
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage your own workload.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to successfully complete a DBS check.
