Job Overview: Airco are looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Engineer, with a positive and pro-active approach to ensure effective service delivery to our clients. We work for a prestigious customer base in a wide range of sectors including pharmaceuticals, petrochemical, telecoms, education, IT, retail, healthcare & local authorities. Airco are a forward-thinking & progressive company, and this is a fantastic opportunity for like-minded engineers. You will be part of a team of Engineers who support Airco in providing a service to our growing and highly prestigious client base in the Midlands. The role will be very varied from carrying out planned and preventative maintenance to responding to service calls.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Mobile engineer
- Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions
- Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance
- Work to the highest standards of workmanship and safety
- Conduct & promote best practice
- Take part in 24hr call out rota
- Assist in site surveys, reports and quotes for new & existing customers
Key Requirements:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, you will be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant
- Proficient technical knowledge in refrigeration & electrical principles
- An individual with hands-on experience working with VRV systems, cold rooms, close control units, chilled water systems, and chillers
- Fault finding experience on a range of equipment, including data centre cooling & water chillers
- Good understanding of industry standards, legislation and compliance requirements
- Positive and pro-active approach
- Well-organised and effective communicator
- High level of professionalism & customer service
