This is a 5 month FTC. This is a diverse role working in a range of functions on site, including stock handling, forklift driving, mixing, blending, filling and other operations, as assigned by supervisor in charge.
Your responsibility:
- The safe handling, filling and storage of chemical products to ensure compliance with legislation and operational requirements.
- Pick and Check vehicle loads and confirm match customer order.
- Load vehicles of supplies and ensure safe handling and dispatch to laid down operational procedures.
- Build loads to meet customer orders, both manual handling and by forklifted pallets.
- Contribute to the safe and efficient running of the yard and warehouse.
- Carry out manual handling yard duties and chemical filling as required.
- Carry out tanker offload into bulk tanks or IBC's.
- Load & Unload IDN trailers and put away into Warehouse.
- Filling IBC`s with chemicals using automated filling stations, full protective suits and PPE are supplied.
- Undertake any reasonable tasks or duties assigned by your line manager from time to time, related to the effective and efficient performance of the job, and providing they are within the post holders skills and ability.
