As a Software Test Engineer, integrated into a team of developers, you will champion the test process and contribute to the delivery of new software solutions in the Satellite Communications Domain. As a tester you will contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, engage in retrospective reviews and bring ideas to the table. This role is highly visible and highly focused on Verification and Validation (V&V). You will be trained to create or enhance your knowledge of V&V.
How will you contribute to the team…
- Highlight and communicate concerns, results and ideas to team members from a test perspective
- Define, document and run test cases for new project development in all phases of the development process
- Produce Tests, Verifying and Validating code quality, under an Agile methodology approach, and support Test documentation development
- Support Test Readiness and Test Review Boards as guided by the Test Lead
About you…
- Passionate about bringing new ideas to the table and questioning the status quo
- Experience using Test Automation tools Java and Selenium, and GIT and Jira to manage the development
- Interest in learning new tools and processes such as V&V, Cucumber, Postman
- Excellent communication skills that can be adapted for team members and technical / non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity to interpret Model Based System Engineering Diagrams
