WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Responsible for managing M&P activity in a production environment.
- Contribute to leading production issues for M&P technologies.
- Lead product improvement, for cost or quality, of parts and assembly.
- Coordinate activities with Manufacturing Engineering and M&P.
- Responsible for material selection and support to Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality for M&P related queries.
- Build and maintain a powerful stakeholder network with internal interfaces such as Design, Procurement and Supply Chain Quality.
- Be part of future aircraft development programs as well as industrialisation improvement projects.
ABOUT YOU
Essential
- We are looking for an engineer with experience in M&P, and knowledge of (but not limited to) composite materials, metallic materials, assembly processes (including composite repairs) or chemical and environmental technologies.
- A BSc/BEng degree with a minimum of 3 years' relevant M&P engineering experience (must include management or project management responsibilities).
- OR A relevant engineering qualification, such as HNC or HND and a minimum of 5 years' relevant M&P engineering (must include management or project management responsibilities).
- Experience to technically support M&P qualifications and developments.
- Ability to technically support projects in an interdisciplinary environment across different levels of hierarchy.
- Demonstrated networking skills and technical leadership in collaboration with internal or external partners, with a positive approach to problem solving.
Desirable
- Demonstrated aerospace experience.
- Experience supporting production environment.
