Location: Prestwick, Ayrshire

Work Location: Site-based (100%) worldwide.

As part of the Airbus family, we play a key role in delivering safe quality engineering activities within the respective project and working in support of the operational requirements, ensuring that quality is maintained by adherence to customer and regulatory authority requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the control of manufacturing processes and the application of problem-solving and improvement tools.
  • Supporting production activities, ensuring all Quality Engineering processes are effectively deployed in line with customer and regulatory authority requirements, such as EASA Part 21G and AS9100 Rev D.

Experience preferably in Aerospace or equivalent manufacturing industry.

Knowledge of AS9100 Rev D as well as regulatory authority approval and certification requirements.

Knowledge of engineering systems including awareness of drawings and systems as applied within our major customers such as Boeing and Airbus would be an advantage.

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access.
