We are looking for a Senior Training Designer/Developer to join our team at Airbus Defence & Space, Portsmouth. Reporting directly to the Head of Logistics, ILS and Training you will be responsible for establishing and managing technical communication training services for Space Digital and ensure that training products and services are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer and user requirements. You will conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify gaps and develop effective training solutions while collaborating with various internal teams such as Bid Management, Product Development, and Engineering.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

  • You will conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify training gaps and propose effective solutions.
  • You will develop and deliver training courses for new equipment and services provided by Space Digital.
  • You will manage technical training instructors and support staff, ensuring high-quality training delivery.
  • You will collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for training development.
  • You will conduct training assurance activities and evaluations to measure effectiveness against performance standards.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in developing and delivering technical training within satellite communications.
  • Experience conducting Training Needs Analysis.
  • Knowledge of JSP 882
  • Experience leading a training team, including resource and workload management.
