We are seeking a professional LGV Driver to join our chemical distribution operation in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and compliant delivery of chemical products, including both packed hazardous goods and bulk deliveries, ensuring the highest standards of safety, customer service and regulatory compliance.

This role is ideally suited to an individual with experience in chemical logistics, hazardous goods transportation, tanker operations or other highly regulated distribution environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive an LGV vehicle in accordance with planned schedules and delivery routes.
  • Safely transport, load, secure and deliver chemical products, including both packed hazardous goods and bulk deliveries where required.
  • Complete transportation, delivery and hazardous goods documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Carry out daily vehicle safety, equipment and defect checks.
  • Deliver products in full and on time whilst adhering to customer site-specific safety requirements and operating procedures.
  • Comply with Drivers' Hours Regulations, ADR requirements and company procedures.
  • Follow all health, safety and environmental policies to ensure the safe handling and transportation of chemical products.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism at all customer locations.
  • Support the safe and efficient operation of the depot through effective teamwork and adherence to processes.
  • Attend annual Driver CPC training, ADR refresher training and other development activities as required.
  • Conduct customer site assessments when required.

What We’re Looking For

  • LGV Class 1 licence (essential)
  • Current Driver CPC qualification ADR Licence
  • Experience within chemical distribution, hazardous goods transport, industrial logistics or multi-drop delivery environments is desirable
  • Strong understanding of Drivers' Hours legislation, ADR requirements and transport compliance standards.
  • Good administrative and record‑keeping skills, including the completion of transport and hazardous goods documentation.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to health & safety, environmental compliance and operational excellence
