B1 & B2 Licensed Engineers: Join the World’s Leading Helicopter Service Provider at Airbus Helicopters UK, we are the backbone of Britain’s civil helicopter hub. As the MoD's chosen provider for the No.1 Helicopter Flying School (MFTS), we deliver critical maintenance support for missions that save lives and protect communities. We are looking for professional B1 and B2 Licensed Engineers to maintain our high standards of safety and operational excellence.
Location Flexibility: Your Career, Your Base. We are currently recruiting across our three primary UK sites. You can choose a permanent base at one location or opt for a rotating role to support the business across all sites as required:
- AHUK, London Oxford Airport (Kidlington): Our headquarters and Civil MRO hub.
- RAF Shawbury (Shropshire): Supporting the MFTS fleet.
- RAF Valley (Anglesey): Supporting the MFTS fleet.

The Roles: Both positions are Full-Time (40 hours/week) and report to the MRO Maintenance Manager. You will work on a diverse fleet, including the H125, H130, H135, H145 and H160.
- B1 Licensed Engineer (Mechanical)
- Responsibilities: Certify maintenance, repairs, and inspections on airframe structures, power plants, and mechanical systems.
- Supervision: Oversee maintenance fitters and certify their work.
- Requirements: A CAA Part 66 B1.3 Licence (Turbine Rotorcraft) is essential.
- B2 Licensed Engineer (Avionics)
- Responsibilities: Accomplish maintenance inspections and rectifications on electrical and avionics systems.
- Expertise: Use specialised test equipment to ensure the continued safe operation of the aircraft.
- Requirements: A CAA Part 66 B2 License is preferred.
