As our Fire Safety & Security Operations Manager, you will lead a dedicated team to deliver cutting-edge security strategies and robust emergency response frameworks. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

  • Overseeing daily physical security operations while developing and implementing a comprehensive fire safety policy across the Airbus Belfast estate.
  • Lead contingency planning exercises and ensure emergency response teams possess the operational capability for immediate, effective turnout in line with regulatory standards.
  • Manage fire safety service providers to ensure compliance with safety management systems and BS9999, while serving as the primary focal point for local authorities on fire and rescue matters.
  • Drive the Airbus risk management process by completing fire risk assessments, forecasting capital expenditure for mitigation, and harmonising safety reporting across the business.
  • Collaborate with Facility Management to ensure all fire detection, suppression systems, and equipment are strictly maintained to manufacturer specifications and national legislation.

ABOUT YOU

Candidate Musts:

  • Recognised qualifications in both Fire Safety and Security Management.
  • A minimum of 5 years' proven experience in security management.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, backed by a demonstrated ability to analyse, assess, and resolve complex issues.
  • Preparedness and flexibility to travel on company business at short notice.

Desirable Criteria:

  • A background in fire service or fire safety management within the commercial or industrial sector.
  • Prior experience successfully managing a fire or security contractor.
  • Comprehensive proficiency in using Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
