This role is for the UK Defence Digital BU, which is part of a world-leading international Combat Cloud and Connectivity team. We are looking for a candidate with a project management background who is keen to join and support the growth of UK capability linked to the Defence Digital UK strategy. We need someone to help build collaborative relationships with internal teams, customers and other industry partners, as well as provide programme support to bids and proposals. As this is a senior position, we would like the candidate to be willing to support and mentor junior members of the team.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Provide programme support to strategic campaigns and customer challenges, helping to shape our offer.
- Provide project management support to existing and future contracts.
- Maintain resource forecasts in line with demand signals.
- Report programme progress across the business.
- Develop and maintain communication plans across the wider team to ensure alignment on programme goals.
- Provide impact analysis to support decision making at programme meetings.
ABOUT YOU
- Project management qualifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, etc.) or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
- Good leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
