Role Overview
Senior Marketing Manager – Defence Digital & Cyber UK
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have or be able to obtain UK SC Security Clearance.
LOCATION: Newport, South Wales (hybrid working available).
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent full‑time.
Reporting to the HO Marketing for Defence Digital & Cyber within Airbus Defence & Space. Based onsite in our Newport office.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product positioning, value propositions, and messaging for military and civil defence customers to support campaigns and business development.
- Conduct market, competitor, and customer analyses.
- Support portfolio management and programme management on product roadmap definition.
- Identify new business opportunities together with the Sales team and regional teams.
- Develop marketing strategies and tactics to expand market reach and grow the business.
- Lead go‑to‑market activities for new and existing Defence Digital products and solutions.
- Drive priorities based on company strategy and operational needs.
- Manage stakeholders across functions and countries.
- Ensure relevant information and knowledge sharing with stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Marketing, business, and technical education and background.
- Experience in a role related to the defence industry.
- Experience in business development and strategic marketing.
- Leveraging different marketing channels: Content, Digital, and B2G.
- In‑depth knowledge of strategic and market analysis.
- Experience with tools such as Salesforce, AI, and dashboards.
- Project management with a delivery mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across multiple teams.
- English language skills (written and spoken).
