Overview: Brenntag UK & Ireland (part of the global Brenntag Group) is the market leader in specialty, bulk and packaged chemical distribution. In the UK, we employ circa 1,000 people from 21 strategic sites, three sea‑fed facilities and we regularly invest in our dedicated fleet of over 120 vehicles. We serve over 20,000 customer accounts nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Safe loading and delivery of hazardous and non‑hazardous materials from the Lutterworth depot.
- Work to planned schedules and agreed policies/operational procedures.
- Contribute to the safe operational effectiveness and efficiency of the depot by following procedures and working as part of a team to effect on‑time deliveries.
Qualifications:
- HGV Class 2 licence along with current driver CPC training.
- Multi‑drop experience.
- ADR certificates (all classes less 1 & 7) preferable; training could be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong customer focus and ability to communicate with customers and management to deliver the product safely.
- Awareness of drivers’ hours legislation and good record‑keeping skills.
