Step into the heart of aerospace innovation at Airbus Belfast, where you will take a key role in bridging the gap between material logistics and robust financial planning. As a Reporting Analyst in our Ordering team, your data modeling expertise and problem-solving passion will directly drive operational efficiency and shape the strategy for our annual material spend budget.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM:

  • Extract and analyze detailed stock, work-in-progress (WIP), lead-time, and budget data from MAXIM, BW, and SAP systems to maintain accurate financial and production models.
  • Guarantee full visibility of short, mid, and long-term material expenditures by tracking variances to budget and adjusting forecasts based on production schedules.
  • Provide advanced Bill of Materials (BOM) analytics and prepare strategic baseline logic and spend-goal presentations for senior management and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Navigate and resolve analytical data complications involving non-Maxim spends and production offloads, acting as a central liaison across Procurement, Finance, BTS, Contracts, and Operations.
  • Proactively spearhead inventory target settings and contribute to the development and deployment of new systems to optimize material planning efficiency.

ABOUT YOU:

Essential Criteria:

  • Educated to at least a degree level in a relevant field (e.g., Business IT, Engineering, Business Analytics) AND possess a minimum of 2 years' demonstrated experience using various data analysis techniques.
  • Proven expertise managing complex queries and utilizing data analysis/presentation tools, with a strong emphasis on MS Excel and MS Access Database/SQL.
  • Demonstrable skill in managing root-cause analysis, identifying patterns, and validating complex data where small percentage deviations yield massive monetary impacts.
  • Proven capability to work completely unsupervised and demonstrate highly proactive intuition to solve multi-layered operational problems.

Desirable Criteria:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar analyst or business analyst role.
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP S4Hana in a manufacturing or purchasing environment, including developing reporting and KPIs.
