B1.3 Licensed Engineer*
*Airbus Helicopters is the world’s largest helicopter manufacturer and the company’s site at Oxford Airport is Britain’s civil helicopter hub.
Its in-house engineering capabilities include design, customisation, installation, flight-testing and certification, as well as technical support, maintenance, training and the supply of spares for civil and military applications.
AHUK has an exciting new opportunity arising as the result of a new contract to support aircraft for the MoD located in Brunei. The aircraft are engaged in a variety of tasks and will need to have maximum availability for the customer. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in aircraft engineering in a challenging and dynamic environment. Your contribution will be key to the success of the contract and the operational capability of the customer.
Ensuring aircraft are prepared for the day's flying activity.
* Experienced aircraft engineer with extensive experience in rotary.
* Pragmatic and flexible but with a keen attitude towards safety and regulatory compliance.
* Education, Qualifications or Training**
**Military training or civilian apprenticeship/qualification in aircraft maintenance
* Knowledge of CAP 562 Leaflet B40
**Due to the nature of this position, you will require DBS Security Clearance and be eligible for SC clearance.
* You will be required to work onsite in Oxford, UK for a period of up to 4 months to complete AHUK training prior to deployment to Brunei.
