Join One of Ayrshire’s Largest Engineering Employers. Prestwick Aerosystems continues Ayrshire’s long standing aircraft manufacturing tradition. From our Prestwick site, we manufacture aircraft wing structures used on Airbus commercial aircraft worldwide.

As an Inventory and Costings Analyst you'll apply a broad range of accounting skills and experience to support reporting requirements for inventory, supply chain costs and forecasts. You will provide professional financial forecasting, analysis and commentary and be the point of contact for all supply chain related queries.

How you will contribute to the team:

  • Coordinate and review working capital reporting packs required for onward internal and group reporting purposes.
  • Support and maintain the financial modelling framework to support the quarterly business forecasting process.
  • Hold monthly reviews with the relevant supply chain management personnel to assess performance against annual operating plan and forecasts. Hold people accountable for actions.
  • Check and review all cost variations reports coming through to ensure these are incorporated to bills of material. Review, address and report Purchase Price Variances with the SCM team on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare complex and detailed financial performance reports for both Prestwick Aerosystems and wider group audiences.

Requirements for the role:

  • Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or studying towards.
  • Degree qualified with relevant experience.
  • Excellent IT Skills – particularly Excel & TM1.
  • Knowledge and experience to promote process improvement.
  • Effective relationship management skills.
