Airbus at Broughton has a vacancy for an Automation Machines and Systems Engineer to join the Automation team. The team is responsible for the deployment and support of automated machinery for the manufacture of aircraft wing structures and sub-assemblies. Manufacturing processes include machining, forming, drilling, fastening, cold-working, sealing and painting. The scope of automated machinery ranges from large milling machines and industrial robots to lightweight solutions and collaborative robots (cobots).

ABOUT YOU
- Degree level qualified (or equivalent) in industrial automation and/or Robotics or Engineering
- A capacity to develop robust Project Management skills
- Proficient digital and data analysis skills. Experience with statistical or data analysis software tools would be advantageous e.g. Minitab, Skywise
- Ability to understand, translate and present complex data in meaningful terms to a non-technical audience and/or senior stakeholders
