About us:
Join the Airbus UK Events and Communications team, where you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of tasks.
You will assist with high-profile events, predominantly in the space sector, across the UK. This includes the organisation and logistical arrangements for various events, such as VIP visits, exhibitions, media and press events, and conferences. You will also assist in communications projects and campaigns that promote Airbus.
Our internships offer a unique insight into potential career paths within Airbus. They are designed to help you put your theoretical knowledge into practice and gain crucial industry experience. The skills and knowledge you gain will not only improve your chances of a future role within Airbus but will also benefit your future studies.
What you will be doing:
In this role, you will support Airbus\βs external presence and engagement. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering an integrated events strategy that effectively supports Airbus\βs overall business objectives;
- Developing a range of creative and cost-effective tools, resources, and platforms that combine the best of events and exhibition techniques;
- Providing clear guidelines and policies for all aspects of events, exhibitions, and protocol at Airbus.

Requirements:
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only . Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Currently studying towards a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Media, Business or related subject;
- An interest in space, aerospace and some knowledge of the fantastic products Airbus designs;
- Communications and organisational skills, with attention to detail;
- Flexibility and the ability to travel to UK sites, events and occasionally overseas;
- But really the most important thing is what makes you tick. You must have a passion for people, be self-motivated and not afraid to pick up the phone and talk to stakeholders at all levels.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
