at Filton as we pioneer the future of flight. We are in the middle of a significant transformation, bringing together the lifecycle of the entire production system into a seamless digital world.

We are recruiting for two distinct opportunities within our team:

  • Electrical Design Engineer: Focusing on the integration of electrical systems with wing structures and leading projects from concept to in-service.
  • Electrical Circuit Design Engineer: Focusing on the creation and update of critical functional diagrams (PDs/WDs) using advanced digital design tools.

How You Will Contribute To The Team

  • Lead and integrate electrical projects: You will manage electrical activities from concept to in-service, including design reviews, development, and the integration of Electrical Systems Installation (ESI) with wing structures and other systems.
  • Create and validate technical solutions: You will interpret functional requirements to produce and update critical technical data, such as Principle Diagrams (PDs) and Wiring Diagrams (WDs), ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality.
  • Drive digital transformation: You will utilise advanced design tools (such as Capital Logic or See-XP) to update electrical definitions, ensuring our data supports the manufacture and digital continuity of our aerospace products.
  • Ensure compliance and safety: You will analyse design requirements, agree on deviations with stakeholders, and support production and customer services by resolving technical requests and non-conformities.

About You

  • Engineering Education: You hold a degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, or a related discipline).
  • Technical Experience: You have a proven technical background and knowledge in System Installation Design, ranging from conceptual and detailed design to Verification & Validation (V&V) and build support.
  • Domain Knowledge: You possess technical knowledge of electrical systems installation, functional electrics, or wiring architecture.
