Our contract with the MOD states we will provide a continuous service to cover on a 24 hours, 7 days a week and 365 days a year to the Royal Air Force, to maintain and ensure airworthiness of their fleet of aircraft at home and overseas. Our services include both direct and indirect functions which all work together to provide the airworthiness total service – including maintenance planners; licensed line maintenance engineers; technical services including structures and systems specialists; facilities management; security; and health and safety etc.
About the Role
Airbus are looking for an experienced Technical Services Systems & Structures Engineer to join their team based in RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire. You will be accountable to the CAMO Services Manager for Airbus Defence and Space - Airbus Support Centres UK. You will liaise with the customer’s MilCAM and MRP Part 145 Line Maintenance organization on site, and with the Airbus and other external EASA Part 145 base maintenance organisations, to ensure contractual targets and service levels are achieved.
How you will contribute
- Manage interface and communications with all customers.
- Provide technical expertise, single point of contact for queries and support.
- Resolve complex faults and issues.
- Analyse impact and approve changes to product/system/network.
- Interface control to linked product/system/networks.
- Provide tracking and delivery time indication.
- Publish internal & external reports about activity & performances evaluation.
- Configuration control.
About you
You will have served a recognised engineering and or technical educational background as well as working experience within the aviation industry. Exposure to the A400M aircraft. Experience of working closely with the UK MoD Customer on-site. Knowledge of MAA Pt 145 regulations.
