About us:
Join the Airbus A400M Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) Services team, where we provide essential technical management services for the Royal Air Force (RAF) A400M fleet. Our team, based in the Airbus Maintenance and Logistics Support Facility at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire, is responsible for the continuing airworthiness management of the A400M aircraft. All our services are carried out to the highest standard of compliance, in line with Military Regulatory Publications (MRP) Part M, Subpart G.
What you will be doing:
In this role, you will work in close liaison with the customer's Military Continuing Airworthiness Management (MilCAM) and MRP Part 145 Line Maintenance organisation. You will also collaborate with Airbus and other external European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 145 base maintenance organisations. Your main activities will focus on:
- All technical aspects relating to the A400M aircraft systems;
- Investigating in-service reliability issues relating to A400M aircraft Systems in conjunction with the Reliability Engineer;
- Assessing technical documentation applicable to the A400M aircraft systems issued by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), the Type Certificate (TC) Holder and the Regulators;
- Managing and recording modifications, damage and repairs relating to A400M Systems in conjunction with the Configuration Engineer;
- Compiling and analysing in-service data to identify fleet reliability issues;
- Liaising with the planning team to ensure timely addition of any reliability actions into the Maintenance Plan and individual aircraft Work Packs.
Requirements:
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Studying towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing or an equivalent degree;
- Good communication skills;

SECURITY CLEARANCE:
You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
