About us:
Our Planning Supply Chain & Logistics Business Degree Apprentices get the unique opportunity to work across all business functions and a variety of teams, giving you the "university experience" with 3 whole years of invaluable industry experience. This degree apprenticeship will enable you to gain broad exposure to our daily operations and management of aircraft production. You'll gain both academic knowledge and on-the-job training at our site in Broughton (North Wales) near Chester, whilst earning a full-time salary and paying ZERO fees to do so.
What you will be doing:
- Beluga operation scheduling
- Driving sustainability throughout the supply chain
- Planning build sequence to ensure on time delivery
- Managing and supporting projects across the business to implement changes & improvements
- Interacting with a global supply base to secure on time deliveries of key aircraft components
- Working closely with operational teams, protecting production by confirming the availability of parts at the point of use
- Manage the performance of on site service providers, ensuring that the expected level of service is maintained
- Work to implement digital solutions across the business
Requirements:
In order to be eligible to this apprenticeship, you must have a minimum of:
- 3 A Levels at grade B or above with one being in Business Studies or Economics and a further two subjects such as English Language, Maths or Welsh Baccalaureate
- Business BTEC Extended Diploma (18 Units) DDM
- Equivalent qualifications (ie HND in Marketing, or a business related BTEC, eg Entrepreneurship) subject to validation
- Minimum GCSE 4/C in Maths or Numeracy and English Language or equivalent
