You'll play a key role in supporting the successful introduction of industrial systems, managing operational tooling Cap Ex activities, tracking quality actions, coordinating suppliers, and ensuring effective reporting across the programme.

If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoy bringing structure, organisation, and control to complex projects, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Launch Support
  • Provide dedicated project support for the launch of industrial systems.
  • Log, track, and drive the resolution of Non-Conformances (NCs) identified during equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Own and maintain master snag lists, ensuring all actions are closed before project sign-off.
  • Manage, organise, and archive technical documentation, manuals, validation certificates, and project records.
  • Tooling, Cap Ex & Supplier Management
  • Prepare Capital Expenditure (Cap Ex) requests.
  • Process invoices and manage Goods Receipts (GRs) for operational tooling activities.
  • Raise and manage Change Proposals (CPs) with external suppliers.
  • Monitor tooling expenditure against budget allocation and highlight any risks to cost performance.
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
  • Risk Mitigation & Quality Coordination
  • Coordinate and track actions arising from PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) activities.
  • Drive action ownership and timely closure across engineering teams.
  • Escalate quality or engineering issues that could impact launch milestones and programme delivery.
  • Reporting & Documentation Management
  • Produce and maintain weekly and monthly Manufacturing Engineering reports and KPI dashboards.
  • Coordinate review meetings, record actions, and ensure accountability across stakeholders.
  • Support leadership teams with accurate progress updates and programme reporting.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience in project coordination, project support, PMO support, or a similar role within a manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, engineering, or industrial environment.
  • Experience managing Cap Ex requests, Purchase Orders, invoicing, and Goods Receipts.
  • Knowledge of quality and risk management processes, including PFMEA tracking, Non-Conformance management, and snag list resolution.
  • Experience coordinating activities with external suppliers and managing project actions.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project/document management tools.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting facility launches, production line installations, or large-scale manufacturing projects.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing execution or equipping systems such as CIPS or similar frameworks.
  • A blend of technical engineering understanding and strong financial or administrative capability.

What's in it for You?

  • Opportunity to contribute to a major manufacturing facility launch.
  • Exposure to complex engineering and manufacturing programmes.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Development of project management, supplier management, quality, and financial control expertise.
  • Potential contract extension opportunities based on business requirements.
  • Additional Information
  • Fully onsite role based in Broughton.
  • Standard working week of 35 hours worked over 4.5 days between 7am and 7pm (hours agreed in line with business requirements).
