Responsibilities
- Provide strong Project Management expertise and ensure VSM projects follow appropriate structure, governance and practices.
- Collaborate with VSM project leaders and project organisations on a day-to-day basis.
- Coach and conduct awareness sessions to raise acceptance of best practice project management within VSM teams, challenging project leaders where needed.
- Shape methods and tools in line with PM standards to meet project/activity needs.
- Support efficient communication and stakeholder management, ensuring alignment with interfacing projects and operations.
- Promote Agile World‑of‑Work and act as Scrum Master for project activities when required.
- Establish end‑to‑end project plans and control all changes versus the initial baseline.
- Identify Earned Value Management (EVM) milestones and project critical paths.
- Track performance vs. plan throughout the project lifecycle and analyse information to anticipate deviations, proposing preventive and corrective actions.
- Provide clear and regular reporting throughout all project phases.
- Drive the Risk & Opportunity Management process in line with the existing R&OM plan, owning the associated register.
- Collaborate with Finance to compare cost incurred and time spent against current planning.
- Prepare and publish required reports and define/deliver relevant KPIs and dashboards for performance management.
- Contribute to all team reviews and support project management reviews (PRM, Operational meetings, etc.).
- Implement smart digital solutions within the VSM for automated reporting, KPI generation and planning.
- Work with PALANTIR (Sky Wise) and advanced business tools such as G‑Suite, Gemini (AI), Qlik Sense, KPI Factory, SAP, Unified Planning to increase transparency, minimise manual operations and enable faster decision making.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management within a complex organisation.
- Working knowledge and experience of Aircraft production / Aircraft engineering.
