Job Summary:

An exciting role has become available for a Project Manager in the Airbus Single Aisle New Generation Department. The successful candidate will orchestrate complex, high-impact programs end-to-end. The focus will be on the deliverables for Single Aisle New Generation while driving broader initiatives, such as the Catia R33 test management & automation. You will ensure all objectives—time, scope, cost, and quality—are met to the highest level of customer satisfaction, providing visible leadership from initial setup through to final closure. This role requires a disciplined approach to project management, including precise resource allocation and rigorous budget monitoring for technical milestones. By maintaining strict compliance with both internal and external regulations and also safeguarding project integrity while fostering transparent relationships with stakeholders and customers across the digital landscape.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM:

  • You will define and lead multi-disciplinary teams within a matrix environment.
  • You are expected to be the primary decision-maker when deviations from the plan occur, possessing the authority to renegotiate objectives with sponsors and implement corrective actions.
  • Your leadership will feature effective communication and team engagement, ensuring that lessons learned from complex engineering and IT integrations are captured for future workflows.
  • Manage external partners and suppliers with precision.
  • Initially supporting Catia upgrade programs.
  • Ensure a seamless flow of operations and maintain the program's strategic alignment with long-term digital and manufacturing goals.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Preferably Degree Educated.
  • Project management experience (including budget management & Agile methodologies).
  • Catia/PLM knowledge.
  • Aerospace/engineering preferable.
  • Supplier management experience.
  • Experience and comfort working transnationally with a distributed team.
  • Flexible, collaborative mindset.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in an empowered team.
  • Great communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • Comfortable defining & clarifying scope (typically projects don't come to us fully formed!).
