HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
We are looking for a Skilled Aircraft Fitter to join our team, with a focus on Metrology. If successful, you will be part of the production team within the Filton Plant Operations environment, with the opportunity to work on A400M Wing Manufacture, A350 Gear Beam and R&T activities. Be experienced in reading technical drawings i.e. the geometric characteristics and their symbols. Apply the metrology process from start to finish, define the datum structure from key aircraft key features, using interface and frontier drawing and Catia platforms. Fitting and assembly of aircraft components.
ABOUT YOU
Candidates with a Metrology background will bring valuable experience to the Manufacturing environment. Evidence of achievement of Level 3 time served qualification within an Electrical field, typically evidenced by a full Certificate of Modern Apprenticeship or an equivalent combination of NVQ Level 3 and a Level 3 Vocationally Related Academic Qualification. You will need to be flexible and have a strong focus on Safety and Quality. Ability to follow complex documentation and design procedures accurately.
