Landing Gear Engineering is part of the wider Systems Centre of Competence (CoC), providing Airbus Commercial with excellence in Landing Gear definition, integration, industrialisation and in-service support. Landing Gear engineering is a complex and multi-skilled domain with many business interfaces, customers and suppliers to ensure we deliver to programmes on time, on budget and on quality.
What you will be doing:
You will be given the opportunity to work alongside an experienced business management team across a broad scope of topics including:
- Financial / Workload Planning
- Resource Management
- Project & Performance Management
- Change Management
- People Development / Competence Development
The role will require strong business or project management and analytical skills in order to be able to support the Business Operations team. The successful candidate may be required to work with teams throughout the different Airbus functions and will gain a good understanding of the wider business outside of Landing Gear.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate or lead improvement projects, as well as working autonomously throughout the duration of your internship. We look to tailor the work you will be involved in based on your previous experience, interests and development needs to maximise the value you can add to the business.
Requirements:
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will demonstrate that they have studied a relevant degree (including but not strictly limited to):
- Operations Management

SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
