Airbus is looking for a Transportation Manager to join our Transport organization based in Belfast. You will be part of a team managing worldwide transport General cargo activities from Suppliers to Airbus or Airbus to Airbus. As part of the Transport General Cargo team, being a key actor on the overall transport operations, you will be responsible for the performance and reliability of the transport aiming at delivering parts on time, on Cost and on Quality.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Interface / network between business entities
- Implement and adapt Airbus Transport processes
- Transport core activities (supervising Lead transport Providers operations, Support day to day operations by acting between our service providers and our internal customers)
- Suppliers monitoring (Performance management, SQCDP)
- Contract Management (incoterm change, scope change, requirements)
- Creation, Implementation of SLA
- Financial accountability on his/her perimeter (Po placement, Good receipt and invoice audit)
- Support new transport solution, re engineering in order to improve network, efficiency and bring synergies between entities
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 5 years of experience in complex transport operations' management
- Familiar with supplier monitoring activities
- Autonomous
- Curious
- Sound knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
- Fluent English is mandatory
