A great opportunity has been raised within Satair UK (an Airbus Service Company) to develop yourself and your career. The vacancy is for a Battery Workshop Technician working at the Satair UK facility near London Heathrow airport. The workshop operates on a shift pattern Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. Early shift 6am-2pm and late shift 12am-8pm. The successful applicant will join the maintenance team. Satair UK maintains batteries from all aviation sectors: passenger, cargo, corporate jet, military, and helicopters. All battery technologies are also covered: NiCd, Lead acid, lithium.
Technical Responsibilities
- Maintain batteries in strict accordance with the relative OMM/CMM and standard working procedures.
- Complete and maintain clear neat workshop records.
- Work as part of a team.
Complete Shift Responsibilities
- Identify issues arising from maintenance regime and provide solutions for issue resolution.
- Completion of shift handover.
- Carry out AOG roster duties.
- Scrap batteries and prepare for recycling as required.
- Resolve warranty claims.
- Release EASA/CAA form 1 certificate.
- Assist quality manager in the completion of internal and external audits.
- Carry out other duties as directed by manager or shift supervisor.
- Keep working areas neat and tidy.
Skills
- BTEC diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or electromechanical).
- Experience in working on Aircraft component maintenance ATA C3, C6, C8.
