What you will be doing: The successful candidate will be working within the Process, Methods, Tools and Data team on the DDMS (Digital Design and Manufacturing Service) improvement Project. This project is designed to deliver significant financial savings to the business by reducing waste and using digitalisation as a key tool in improving end to end engineering processes through the business. The mission will be to look at specifying, developing and documenting the tools and process changes required for making the deployment of the new toolset (including 3DExperience – Catia V6, Delmia, Apriso) a success. The new way of working will need to be leaner so a great interaction with the stakeholders across the business will be mandatory. Requirements: In order to be eligible for this apprenticeship you must have a minimum of: AAA grades at A level, to include Mathematics and a Physical Science Or BTEC Diploma grade D*D*, with an A grade A level Mathematics Or BTEC Extended Diploma grade DDD, including two Mathematics units Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following: Submit your CV stating your grades and if they are predicted or achieved ; Submit a Cover Letter stating your motivations; Experience and knowledge of CAD/CAM tools (e.g. Solidworks, Catia V5 or V6, 3DX) is preferred; Knowledge in programming skills (e.g. Python, VB, VB.net, php, mysql, C#) is a plus. Important Information: GRADES: If you are on predicted grades, your offer will be conditional to achieving the position’s requirements before the apprenticeship start date.
