What you will be doing

Our HR department in the UK is part of a transnational organization, covering a wide variety of areas with plentiful opportunities to travel and work in diverse roles throughout the Airbus organization.
Some of the areas you can be expected to work in are:

Reward – this refers to how the company structures Compensation and Benefits, Pay structures and Banding. It ensures we are competitive with the market and makes sure we optimise merit based payments inside the company.

Employment Marketing Early Careers – Promoting the brand of Airbus at fairs and events, whilst developing international mobility, redeployment, apprentice, intern and graduate programmes.

Culture Development, Inclusion and Diversity and Employee Engagement – The Employee Engagement process ensures that we listen to the voice of our people and positively act upon it. Our Inclusion and Diversity Strategy is a key enabler to being a world class employer.

HR Transformation, Digital and Change – a key enabler on the journey to transform the business with a focus on the digitalization of its services to the business, the creation of new ways of working and ensuring that a people centric mindset is a key element of this business transformation.

Labour Relations & Social Policies – Responsible for communicating all changes to policies and ensuring they are legally compliant in the Airbus format, after consultation/negotiating with the Trade Unions. Also providing up to date employment law advice to the business.

HR Business Partnering –

Our HR Business partners are the primary HR interface with the business, supporting and advising employees and managers on all HR related topics. Gain understanding how to act like an HR consultant in how you partner with, listen to and advise each business area. Ensuring that HR policies are applied and that HR processes are implemented effectively and consistently in the business area in line with local legislation and global HR strategy.

Early Careers Programme Management – working alongside the team of early careers managers that are responsible for guiding and mentoring our apprentice, intern and graduate employees, ensuring they receive the training, support, and experience necessary to succeed in their roles and future careers with Airbus. Experience working closely with business functions, academic providers and other key stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery in all programme areas to meet the business needs now and in the future.

What we look for

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate;

Educated to a degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study

Recently graduated or first professional experience

Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)

A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation

The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
