HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Conduct in‑depth discovery meetings, targeting the understanding, capture, and identification of the complex business requirements and operational objectives of the Engineering area as well as Support, Services and Quality.
- Secure consistent planning and validate Functional Architects and Urbanists commitments with Business.
- Follow‑up implementation deliveries, functional tests, deployment and method writing for the domain.
- Define and develop the required functional and technical specification documents to be reviewed with stakeholders and product team members.
- Manage realization of new IT solutions in a multinational organisation following a joint approach with business and other technical experts based on the agile framework (SAFe) to ensure the integrity of the solution delivered.
- Ensure collaboration between Product Management teams and development resources during product development and implementation to ensure integrity of the solution delivered.
- Identify areas for improvement in business processes providing possible IT solutions compliant with the IT strategy.
- Support the IT Product Manager in the Product/Service Planning based on customer and functional/technical requirements.
- Produce documentation of current challenges, future requirements, and benefits in a manner appropriate for the customer.
- Monitor external business trends in order to better challenge the business requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and the operational efficiency department to track and facilitate the rollout of new solutions across various Airbus sites.
- Manage Run Mode phase of deployment to support customers users ramp‑up and replacement of legacy products.
- Ensure synchronization with software publisher and integrators.
- Manage Task Force and escalation procedures if required, including mobilisation of various actors.
This role will involve some travel for business (once a month) and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in functional architecture, project management, solution engineering or another relevant field.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Ideally, knowledge in the field of Design, Manufacturing, Support and Services, or in the following domains: Manufacturing Engineering, Shop Floor Execution, Industrial Modelling and Simulation, Configuration Management, Quality, Configured Digital Mock‑Up (DMU), Product Lifecycle Management, Engineering IS, Architecture, Maintenance and Repair.
- Ability to lead a project from start to finish and deliver results.
- Ability to drive improvement and innovation.
- Knowledge of IT tools customization and architecture, IT and business strategy alignment, IT product design and product development, IT business change management.
- Customer and stakeholder management skills.
Required skills: Configuration Management, IT Strategy, Product Design, Project Management, Manufacturing Engineer.
Required languages: English.
