PJRB is in charge of buying construction services (architect/planners, builders, project management, control companies ...) for any type of construction (Final Assembly Lines, hangars, office buildings, canteens, technical buildings, clean rooms, cranes...) on all sites.

In particular, the job holder is accountable for

• ?

Implementing the procurement strategy defined by the Commodity Procurement Management and the Projects Multi-Functional-Teams (MFT) within the scope of activity supporting Airbus divisions' needs.

• ?

Manage procurement projects and call for tenders with multi-divisional scope within the scope of the Building & Construction Team and international scope on demand, including within Building sub-commodity PJRB.

  • ? Develop and maintain an efficient supply chain capable to deliver goods/services, matching Airbus requirements and business objectives.
  • ? Ensure that deliverables are in line with the contractual terms (cost, time, quality).
  • ? Secure long-term alignment of the preferred supplier base with the long-term trans-divisional strategic needs of the business.
  • ? Ensure continuous commercial relationship with suppliers in order to secure work with best-in-class suppliers and protect Airbus from contractual risks.

Conduct the procurement process in order to fulfil business needs and provide the internal customers with valued services in compliance with the Airbus General Procurement procedures and guidelines, to full customers satisfaction.

Deliver on initiatives contributing to Airbus Savings Programmes using the levers of requirements harmonisation/standardisation, challenge of the specifications, volume aggregation, and control of the demand

  • ? Provide strategically relevant input to support the strategy development
  • Main activities

The jobholder is responsible to

  • A. Drive compliant General Procurement processes
  • B.

Lead cross-functional project teams within the framework of national and international procurement projects, contribute to the control of the demand, challenge and approve the specifications and run the suppliers selection processes.

  • C. Negotiate, establish and implement national & international frame contracts.
  • D.

Follow-up contracts with contract reviews with internal customer base and suppliers, based on consistent and factual KPIs, evaluate and improve suppliers' performance in terms of time, costs and quality.

  • E. Assess suppliers' overall performance and the impact of weak performance on the client and initiate recovery actions when necessary.
  • F. Provide rules and process information to Business Operations to ensure correct execution of transactional procurement activities to full customer satisfaction.
  • G.

Participate in the definition of national, trans-national, international and trans-divisional procurement strategies by providing benchmark, costing and "make or buy" analysis.

  • H. Contribute to the implementation of new procurement techniques such as e-procurement and e-catalogues, as needed.
  • I. Monitor savings linked to demand management and procurement performance contribute to secure and achieve Savings Programmes' commitments.

Develop procurement strategies for harmonised material groups (HMG), or parts of such, where no dedicated category strategy exists ensure validation of such strategy by the respective internal customer base.

  • C. Efficient supply chain with national and international supplier panels and competitive bidder lists in line with commodity and sub-commodity procurement strategy
  • D. National and international supplier contracts are properly negotiated and managed based on GP contract policy, with the objective to reduce risks to the client
  • E. Internal Customers' satisfaction.
  • F. Proper and adequate communication/reporting.
