Responsibilities

  • Approve or authorise static structural deliverables, ensuring solutions meet rigorous safety and certification standards.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional leadership to define project requirements, manage technical scopes, and steer engineers and suppliers.
  • Influence and innovate the future of aerospace by integrating automated workflows and optimisation tools into the development lifecycle.
  • Drive the professional growth of the team and shape the next generation of engineers by fostering both technical expertise and leadership behaviours.
  • Ensure awareness of any potential compliance risks and act with integrity.

Qualifications

  • Hold a degree in Engineering with a Structural Analysis background.
  • Proficient in static analysis processes, methods, and toolsets (e.g., ISAMI, GISEH, and Finite Element Analysis).
  • Strong understanding of aircraft structural layouts, loading, and the mechanics of materials.
  • Senior Static Stress Engineers: recognised stress approval (check) and authorisation, or the capability to achieve within a short timeframe.
  • Lead Static Stress Engineers: recognised stress approval (check) signatory, or the capability to achieve within a short timeframe.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence within a dynamic team to drive decisions at a strategic level.
  • Interest in developing digital solutions associated with engineering activities; Python proficiency is advantageous.
