- What you will be doing
- 1.
Contribute to cutting-edge projects in the aerospace and defence sector developing and implementing innovative software solutions across various domains, working within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
- 2.
Participate in the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to delivery maintenance, following both Waterfall and Agile Software development approaches.
- 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, Test engineers and project managers.
- 4. Developing mainly in Java, you will use the latest technologies and tools to develop, test, debug, and optimise the performance of your software and that of the product.
- 5. Learn to write and maintain technical documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and tools.
- 6. Learn, with support, and apply new technologies and programming languages as required by project needs.
- 7.
Supprt the integration of software components with hardware and other systems and learn to understand and adhere to industry standards, best practices, and company policies for software development and security.
Your development journey will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.
At the end of the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of AGGP2027 - Graduate Software Engineer.
