SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to BPSS and Export Control checks (including a criminal record check). Opportunities have arisen for Process Manager roles across all existing shift patterns, including Double Days and Nights, within the Single Aisle Structures and Single Aisle Equipping departments. The successful applicant will become an integral part of a cross‑functional team, assuming direct responsibility for the daily management of process performance. This involves the oversight of people, machinery, materials, and methods, alongside the rigorous measurement of performance and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
The "Double Day Shift" Pattern: Alternating weekly between mornings and afternoons. Typical Hours: Mornings: 06:00 - 13:10, Afternoons: 13:30 - 20:40. The "Night Shift" Pattern: 4 nights per week (Monday to Thursday). Typical Hours: 20:45 - 06:00.
Responsibilities
- First line management responsibility with scope built around an agreed manufacturing process.
- Daily management of process performance, people, machines, materials, methods and measurement of performance and improvement.
- Adding value through the operation of an effective process that continuously improves across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People (SQCDP).
- Responsibility for the safety and welfare of those within your team and within your area.
- Provision and maintenance of a safe working environment for the team.
- Develop a motivated capable team that displays a "can do" approach.
- Coordinate coaching and development.
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly review of SQCDP metrics, issues and countermeasures with the team coordinators and support team members.
- Previous experience in manufacturing operations.
- Competent with LEAN tools and techniques.
- Experienced in cost management.
- Experience working with various stakeholders.
