This role requires UK Nationals only (No Dual Nationals) and the ability to be security cleared to a UK Eyes Only SC level. In an exciting opportunity, an experienced Senior Capture Manager will join the Airbus Defence and Space Cyber Programmes team based in Newport, South Wales. The UK Cybersecurity business provides high‑grade cryptographic and key management products and services primarily to the UK Mod and UK Govt, with aspirations to continue expanding into export territories and diversify into Cyber Domain business activities.
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and Strategic Growth, UK & 5‑eyes, you will be responsible for Campaign Management and Direct Sales to drive the diversification and growth aspirations of the Cyber Programmes Business into, but not exclusively, the Cyber Domain market.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Deliver agreed order intake targets in line with economic goals; set pricing policies and provide strategic direction.
- Lead negotiations and discussions with decision‑makers, both internal and external, until contracts are signed.
- Lead sales activities, hunting for business opportunities with new and current customers and other Airbus business units.
- Develop, maintain and nurture long‑term relationships of trust and build a customer account strategy.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure optimal positioning of products, services and solutions for the Cyber Security business.
- Proven track record of sales delivery in a cyber security (offensive / defensive) product/service environment.
- Significant sales experience and knowledge in the Government and Defence domains (enterprise experience would be useful).
- National Security / MOD experience preferred.
- Act on a win‑and‑retain basis; maintain awareness of potential compliance risks and commit to act with integrity as the foundation for the company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
