We are looking for a Landing Gear System Engineer to join our team in Filton.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor in‑service occurrences of one or more aircraft programs for ATA32 (Landing Gear).
  • Review and identify severity of in‑service events in the fleet.
  • Manage any unsafe condition related to landing gear systems occurring in the fleet.
  • Analyze and monitor implementation of proposed corrective actions.
  • Communicate progress of activities to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering, ideally in Safety and Continued Airworthiness engineering.
  • Experience with safety processes, regulations and guidelines (ARP 5150, Part‑21A).
  • Good knowledge of aircraft systems, particularly landing gear and hydraulic systems.
  • Track record of leading complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and staff members, delivering on time, cost and quality.
  • Strong ability to lead and manage a project team.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
