Are you an experienced first line manager with a background operating within a manufacturing environment looking after teams of around 10-20? Due to ongoing site ramp up we are seeing people who add value through operation of an effective Lean based Management System process across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People (SQCDP). The successful individual will be responsible for the daily management of Process Performance, People, Machines, Materials Methods and Measurement of Performance and Improvement across specific processes within site at Broughton. Overall, a Process Manager has first line management responsibility with scope built around an agreed manufacturing process. The role will be accountable for SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People) adherence to standards and achievement of objectives for a defined business operational process; and responsible for executing and implementing the business production schedule. This is to ensure that the production process and procedures are achieved in line with business targets. The manager’s span of control consists of 30 operators at a minimum. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM * Provide and maintain a safe working environment for the Team * Develop a motivated capable team that displays a ‘can do’ approach * Interface with integrated support functions at the working level * Putting appropriate actions/measures in place to ensure business targets are met reviewing where appropriate * Carry out regular process confirmation of the business area including functional activities ABOUT YOU * Experience leading a team within a busy manufacturing environment- Aerospace, Automotive, Rail would be highly desirable * A proven track record in managing, Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People (SQCDP) within your team * Understanding of Lean Working Methodologies * A background in training and development of direct reports within manufacturing HOW WE CAN SUPPORT YOU Many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways, including part-time.
