Job Summary:

Are you ready for your next big challenge? Airbus are looking for a dynamic Major Events Supply Engineer to join our transnational mission. Operating across France, the UK, Germany, and Spain, we provide end-to-end supply solutions for the most critical milestones in an aircraft's lifecycle - from Major Repairs and Airworthiness Directives to complex long-term spares management. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM:

  • You will be the technical heartbeat of our Major Repair operations. When an aircraft needs significant recovery, you ensure the supply chain never misses a beat.
  • Driving Major Repair Support: Act as the primary technical point of contact for spare deliveries, ensuring the fastest and most efficient solutions.
  • Technical support: Kick-off meetings for assigned Major Repairs and manage complex technical subjects.
  • Precision Execution: Handle Master Data, Spares Technical Specifications (STS), and Interchangeable Part Number loading.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Identify suppliers/fast shops based on technical capabilities and manage the documentation process.
  • Complex Long Term Topics/Obsolescence material management: Airworthiness Directives for Spares Projects Certifying Staff activities.

Beyond the day-to-day, you will be a catalyst for change within Supply Engineering Team.

  • Project Leadership: Lead high-impact, complex projects using the LBIP+ methodology, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
  • Drive the transition toward digitalization: From developing new 'Ways of Working' (ASAP, Concession handling).
  • Strategic Mapping: Execute Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and manage diverse projects like Local Fabrication or A220 Spares Management.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Master Degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Fluent in English and valuable other country language (French, German, Spanish).
  • Ability to read and consult Airbus documentations and drawings SATAIR and Repair organisation and tasks knowledge.
  • Understand logistic flows and sales orders process.
  • General knowledge of A/C systems and structure.
  • IT-Tools (Tech Request, SAP PSC, Local SAP Systems: PDA/SPA/APD/PGI/PEA, SAP AP1, Sea Cloud, Google Suite).
  • Preferably experienced in Customer Services business and Supply/logistics.
  • Good coordination and relational and communication skills to deal with stakeholders: Suppliers, Customers and other Airbus departments.
  • Ability to cope with highly demanding environment and possible conflict situation.
  • Project Management requirement: Deep knowledge in LBIP+, PM certification Iron level is a plus and will be highly valued.
