An opportunity has arisen to join the Finance Transformation team. If successful, you would work collaboratively across divisions, leading and fostering digital change whilst supporting the finance leadership teams in their transformation ambitions. This role is at the heart of Airbus core financial systems platform; you will work within a supportive, collaborative team, involved in leading and executing the functional element of our financial systems, with a wide view of company process and transformation.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM:
- Operate as a workstream leader representing Financial Systems within a Multi Functional Team set-up, that delivers process and systems solutions for Controlling and Accounting communities in Finance.
- Work closely with Finance Controlling / Accounting teams to determine their operational requirements.
- Connect the Transnational Financial Systems team with the UK Finance Leadership team.
- Provide expertise, guidance and support for UK centric systems topics and projects.
- Continuously monitor the integrated systems to ensure that they are functioning as expected.
- Identify and address any post-integration issues that arise as well as opportunities for further optimization of the finance platform.
- Integrate data on the reporting and planning platform, providing new reporting capabilities for finance teams to support their business partners' performance and decision making processes.
- Train finance and accounting teams on how to use the integrated finance platform to ensure smooth adoption.
- Offer stabilisation support during the transition period, troubleshooting and assistance with any technical issues.
- Orchestrate and lead testing phases to ensure that data flows correctly and that financial reports are accurate.
ABOUT YOU:
- Knowledge and experience working with Finance Process and SAP Systems.
- Experience of Controlling and Accounting, ideally CIMA Qualified.
- Project Management experience.
