Ready to make a tangible impact on aerospace manufacturing? Join our Wing Plant Engineering Team (PET) in Broughton. You will be at the heart of delivering critical wing components, providing reactive engineering support to the Plant and Supply Chain. In this fast-moving environment, you will manage concessions and technical solutions to ensure wings are delivered to the Final Assembly Lines on time and to the highest quality.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Lead and Approve Design Solutions: You will guide and formally approve design solutions, primarily addressing manufacturing non-conformances (NCs) and concessions to meet technical and airworthiness standards.
- Support Industrial Delivery: You will work directly with the product in a reactive capacity, collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering to provide high-quality solutions for the industrial system.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: You will lead initiatives to boost team efficiency by refining methods and processes, ensuring a robust lessons learned and feedback process is maintained.
- Provide Technical Leadership: You will act as a technical focal point, providing governance and mentoring engineering team members to ensure robust knowledge transfer.
ABOUT YOU
- Design Signatory Authority: You must hold an industry-recognised design signatory delegation (specifically T200 concession design signatory) or have the capability to achieve this within a short timeframe.
- Manufacturing Environment Expertise: You possess sound engineering knowledge of manufacturing processes, structural design techniques, and the management of Non-Conformances.
- Technical Problem-Solving: You excel at translating complex manufacturing issues into well-defined technical solutions that support airworthiness certification.
- Design Toolset Proficiency: You have experience using toolsets such as CATIA V5, ICC, ECM, Sollings, or PASS.
